The workshop will engage local authors, both published and aspiring, to consider aspects of the business of writing, including contracts, taxes, copyright, etc. In addition, the workshop will devote a segment to various avenues for promoting published books and branding oneself as an author. Presented by Keith W. Willis, an award-winning author of fantasy/romance. His debut novel, TRAITOR KNIGHT (Champagne Books, 2015) was named a finalist in the 2016 Next Generation Indie Book Awards for fantasy; and also was named Best Romance Novel of 2016 by the Preditors&Editors Readers Poll. Keith's second novel in the Knights of Kilbourne series, DESPERATE KNIGHT, is slated for publication in summer 2017. Keith resides in Clifton Park.
