Nearly every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood.  The Library will be holding a blood drive to help boost the regional blood supply.  To be eligible to donate blood, donors must be 17 years of age (16 with a signed Red Cross parental permission slip), weigh at least 110 pounds and have ID with them when they donate. Anyone who has received a tattoo has to wait one year from the date they received the tattoo. For those that have other questions regarding eligibility, you may call 1-800-RED CROSS.
