From David: “July 14^th 2018 marks the hundredth anniversary of the death in aerial combat of former President Theodore Roosevelt's youngest and best-loved son, Quentin, who had volunteered to fight and fly on World War I's stalemated Western Front. TR had long battled to prepare the nation to fight that war. He personally volunteered for combat. Woodrow Wilson rebuffed him. But TR's four sons went in his place. Quentin never came back.
