This year we are featuring orchids called Cattleyas and their hybrids. The huge flowered ones we saw pinned as corsage on Mamie Eisenhower are still available, called standards,  and hybrids have been developed into compact growing plants suitable for sunny windowsills. Many still have reasonably large flowers and a wonderful fragrance. Many other types of orchids are already on the list and we expect about 80-90 to auction off, with last minute member donations as well. Care sheets will be available. Open to all.
