Longtime local journalist Mike DeMasi will talk about his book "What They Said: 25 Years of Telling Stories," a collection of his favorite work. Mike's book highlights the wide variety of people he has met during his career including a priest at a maximum security prison; a salvager who bought Albany's biggest, ugliest building; a mayor who became the Pied Piper of Guyanese immigrants; and a friendly clock enthusiast named Smiley Lumpkin. He will talk about how he got into journalism, read some stories from the book and answer questions. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
